Danger Ratings are vague measurements used to roughly indicate the level of danger posed by certain creatures in Hungry Shark Evolution. There are five danger ratings in Hungry Shark Evolution: zero, low, medium, high and extreme. The danger ratings of creatures can be found by looking at the in-game museum.

Zero

Creatures with a danger rating of zero pose no threat whatsoever. It is impossible to be harmed by these creatures. Examples of creatures with this danger rating include:

Low

Creatures with a danger rating of low pose a small threat. They deal a minor amount of damage. However, creatures with a danger level of low are rarely ever solitary, meaning that they are dangerous in numbers. Creatures with a danger level of low are mainly sea-bed dwellers, such as:

Medium

Creatures with this danger rating pose a moderate threat. This is the most common danger rating. Creatures with the medium danger rating are scattered across the map, some solitary, others in concentrated groups. Examples of creatures with this danger level include:

High

Creatures with a high danger rating are very powerful. They deal a large amount of damage, and pose more of a threat to more powerful sharks (as earlier sharks usually aren't used to explore a wide area). Examples of creatures wth this danger level include the following:

Extreme

Enemies ranked with this danger rating are the deadliest creatures in the game. They deal massive damage and are very difficult to kill. Enemies with this danger rating can often kill even the most powerful sharks in three or four hits. Examples of creatures with this danger level include:
